The making of mini destinations through video


YouTube has given a shout-out to Little Big World which turns destinations around the world into miniature models using specific camera techniques.

Using time-lapse and tilt and shift photography, the latest clip makes Albania look very appealing and is a great example of how travel companies can take advantage of video for destination marketing.

Figures from YouTube released last year reveal how travellers are influenced by video with 65% saying they use video when thinking about taking a trip.

And, many have already predicted 2016 as the year of video marketing although that was said for many years with mobile.
